About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our team at Estia Health, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with diverse needs.

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to provide holistic care and support.
  • Help residents maintain their physical and mental health through engaging activities and exercises.
  • Administer medication under the guidance of a registered nurse and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with residents and their families, providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy and dignity at all times.

You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care. We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of $60,000-$80,000 based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help you grow and succeed in your career.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or a related field.
  • Experience working as a caregiver or in a similar role.
  • Solid clinical documentation and computer skills.
  • A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
