About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver and Health Support Professional to join our team at Estia Health.

As a Caregiver and Health Support Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lending a hand with daily life tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding;
  • Providing support with medication management and healthcare treatments under the guidance of a registered nurse;
  • Engaging residents in activities that promote their physical and mental health, such as exercise programs and cognitive stimulation;
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress;
  • Contributing to a positive and respectful living environment by fostering strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care;
  • Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in an aged care setting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues;
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and prioritize tasks effectively;
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
