We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented project engineer to join our projects team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will play a key part in the successful execution of projects involving progressive cavity pumps and mixers.

Key tasks for this role include managing projects from tender through to final delivery, reviewing and understanding client specs and project requirements, creating and modifying technical documentation, and managing finances and technical planning aspects of a project.

In addition to these tasks, you will select suitable pumps and mixers using our selection tools and compile complex tenders for high-level clients.

You will need to have excellent communication skills to liaise with other departments in the business, including sales, engineering, finance, operations, supply chain, and production.

International clients will also require communication regarding technical clarifications and design.

To be successful, you will have an engineering degree and preferably experience in a similar role with at least 5 years' experience. Knowledge and understanding of industries such as petrochemical, wastewater, and mining would be preferred.

Excellent time management and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple jobs and functions at once.

The successful candidate must have a high level of attention to detail, which is critical to the success of this role.

Main Responsibilities
  • Reviewing commercial and technical proposals prior to accepting an order.
  • Creating and modifying technical documentation.
  • Managing all aspects of a project through all departments to ensure successful delivery.
  • Utilizing project management tools to track progress and budget.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Project Management Certification (preferred).
