Lead Power Engineer Role

This is a key position within our power engineering team that will play a significant role in delivering high-quality projects for our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement primary/HV projects from conception to completion.
  • Mentor and lead junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Design and review specifications, drawings, and other project documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver timely and accurate project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in substation primary engineering positions across HV/EHV substations design (up to 500kV).
  • Proficiency in using engineering software for project design and management.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering disciplines and experience in electricity transmission, distribution, and traction power projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related field.
