Job Overview

S&You is seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Technician to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. As a Senior Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, retrofits, crane installation, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed inspections on all makes and models of cranes to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Work independently on repair, complex modernizations, and installation jobs on non-standard equipment.
  • Identify and source all parts from the technician price guide and have a good understanding of the Spare Parts Portal.
  • Offer large repair and modernization solutions to customers.
  • Attend emergency breakdowns, identify, and repair faults on non-standard cranes.
  • Support and train level 1 and 2 Technicians.
  • Have a detailed understanding of Australian Standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Electrical Licence or Mechanical Trade Certificate & Restricted Electrical Licence.
  • Current and Valid Driver Licence.
  • Working at Heights competency.
  • Elevated work Platform Ticket.
  • Broad knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
  • Ability to work with computer programs: Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to communicate well with clients and team.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with overhead cranes.
  • Prior experience in a cranes company or a good understanding of cranes.
