Automation Engineering Opportunity

The Alstef Group is a leading provider of automated turnkey solutions for airport and intralogistics markets. As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and commissioning large-scale automation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the automation engineering team to ensure project tasks align with timelines and quality standards.
  2. Mentor junior engineers during commissioning and cutover activities, ensuring smooth transitions and resolving any issues that may arise.
  3. Oversee the design and development of PLC/SCADA systems to meet project requirements, utilizing expertise in control systems and distributed computing.
  4. Lead system commissioning and cutovers, maintaining accurate documentation and reports throughout the process.
  5. Provide ongoing support and optimize system performance post-commissioning, collaborating with stakeholders and engineers to deliver efficient baggage handling systems.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' experience in baggage handling systems, with proven expertise in PLC/SCADA system design and commissioning.
  • Leadership ability in managing technical teams and projects, with excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (software, electrical, computer, or mechatronics), with expertise in PLC, HMI, SCADA, control systems, and distributed computing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
