Automation Professional

The Automation Professional is a pivotal role that oversees the design, implementation, and commissioning of automated solutions for airports, intralogistics, and parcel handling markets. This position requires strong leadership skills to manage project tasks effectively while adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Key responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers during commissioning and cutover activities, overseeing the design and development of PLC/SCADA systems to meet project requirements, leading system commissioning and cutovers, resolving issues during transitions, maintaining accurate documentation and reports, and providing ongoing support and optimizing system performance post-commissioning.Ideal candidates will have proven experience in baggage or material handling automation systems, particularly in design, implementation, and commissioning of large-scale projects. Leadership, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills are essential.Required qualifications include at least 5 years' experience in baggage handling systems, proven PLC/SCADA system design and commissioning skills, leadership ability in managing technical teams and projects, a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (software, electrical, computer, or mechatronics), expertise in PLC, HMI, SCADA, control systems, and distributed computing, and excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
