Role Overview:

This is a fixed-site opportunity to work alongside an experienced Senior WHS Coordinator on a large-scale project. As the WHS Coordinator, you will be integral to maintaining and enhancing workplace health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance the company's WHS system, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Organise all safety-related paperwork and documentation.
  • Oversee subcontractor safety compliance and ensure adherence to protocols.
  • Conduct safety inductions and review Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
  • Monitor site safety protocols and contractor performance.
  • Carry out task observations and weekly/monthly safety audits.
  • Support internal/external WHS audits.
  • Ensure site safety aspects meet code and regulation standards.
  • Lead toolbox talks and high-risk workshops.

Requirements:

  • Cert IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent.
  • Experience in Fit-Out OR construction safety on large projects.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proactive mindset.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
