**About the Role**

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU. As an HSE Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees and stakeholders.

**Salary Package**

The successful candidate can expect a generous salary package of $85,000 + car + amazing bonuses, along with no leasing or administration assistance required. You will also enjoy a Monday-to-Friday work schedule with two days of work-from-home flexibility.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and enforce effective health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections, risk assessments, and provide corrective action recommendations.
  • Train staff and monitor compliance with relevant safety regulations.
  • Investigate incidents and collaborate on safety improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes.

**Requirements**

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE role within the building and construction or related industry.
  • Experience with the HSE accreditation process is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 4801 is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
