Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

**About the Role**
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU. As an HSE Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees and stakeholders.
**Salary Package**
The successful candidate can expect a generous salary package of $85,000 + car + amazing bonuses, along with no leasing or administration assistance required. You will also enjoy a Monday-to-Friday work schedule with two days of work-from-home flexibility.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and enforce effective health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough site inspections, risk assessments, and provide corrective action recommendations.
- Train staff and monitor compliance with relevant safety regulations.
- Investigate incidents and collaborate on safety improvements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
**Requirements**
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE role within the building and construction or related industry.
- Experience with the HSE accreditation process is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 4801 is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
