Agronomy Professional

We are seeking an experienced Agronomy Professional to consult and offer expert product knowledge on broadacre, sugarcane and pasture management for our existing client base.

This role will involve providing agronomic and technical support to farmers and producers in the region, with product sales both in-store and on-farm. You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing customers and targeting new clients through superior sales and agronomic input.

To succeed in this position, you will have established yourself as a trusted advisor in an agronomy role and demonstrate an understanding of products, seasonal timings and general requirements of rural producers.

• Maintaining relationships with existing customers
• Targeting new clients through superior sales and agronomic input
• Coordinating field days and farmer meetings to position yourself as a subject matter expert

To be successful, you will require:

• Sound customer service, organisational, administrative and computing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in the sales process and strong sales activity and call cycle management
• A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field
