Salary: $450-550 per day plus super

This is a highly rewarding contract role, offering a competitive daily rate of $450-550, depending on experience. This rate includes superannuation and other benefits.

Job Description:Supporting Operational Processes

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all operational processes related to Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC). This includes reviewing documentation provided by clients and sales teams, escalating regulatory concerns or exceptions to managers for further review and discussion, and ensuring periodic review and relevant approval records are retained properly in internal databases.

You will also be responsible for monitoring the receipt of outstanding documentation within required timeframes and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Collaborating with Sales Teams

A key aspect of this role is collaborating with sales teams to share KYC and money laundering/terrorism financing (ML/TF) guidance. You will need to communicate complex information effectively and clearly instruct/advice sales teams and other stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience required
  • At least 3 years' experience in the financial services industry, ideally with previous experience in risk and compliance, private banking, or onboarding/periodic review in a top-tier bank
  • Understanding of global Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Know Your Customer (KYC) standards, particularly Australian and UK-FSA requirements
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to articulate issues concisely and effectively
