Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our residential care team.

This role provides a great opportunity to apply your aged care knowledge and management experience to a senior leadership position within our organization.

  • Undertake the overall responsibility of operations in our residential care home, delivering high quality services to residents and their families
  • Create a positive work culture for staff through effective leadership and human resource management practices
  • Manage finances effectively
  • Ensure quality planning, implementation and evaluation processes are in place
  • Promote a healthy and safe working environment for all staff members

Key Requirements

  • A high level of business acumen, including strong financial management skills
  • Leadership skills and the ability to delegate tasks effectively
  • Aged care experience is highly desirable
  • Previous management experience of diverse teams is essential
  • Knowledge of ACFI, the Aged Care Act, WHS, accreditation and continuous improvement principles is required
  • A passion for providing high quality care to older adults is essential
  • A commitment to our organization's values is required
  • Clinical background as an RN or related discipline is highly desirable
  • Current AHPRA nursing registration is also desirable
