Chandler Macleod, a leading provider of human resources solutions in Australia, has a strong track record of unlocking potential in people and businesses.

We are working with a Federal Government client to find a highly skilled Audit Officer for a 6-month non-ongoing contract. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior executives and stakeholders to ensure effective audit processes and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain an internal audit database to provide a comprehensive picture of audits and investigations across the organisation.
  • Support the coordination role for Australian National Audit Office audits on behalf of the client.
  • Analyse internal and external audit activities to identify areas for improvement within the organisation.
  • Collaborate with the Risk and Assurance streams to identify audits that can inform future compliance assurance checks.
  • Prepare complex written communication materials, including operational reports, guidelines, and executive briefs.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and organisational skills, as well as the ability to produce high-quality documents with minimal revisions required.
