**Job Overview**

The Quality Manager will oversee the development and implementation of a quality management system, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities include managing the QMS under the CASG QMS, liaising with the CASG QMS Directorate team, and updating internal audit plans.

The successful candidate will have experience in quality management practices in a Defence environment and hold internal auditor qualifications meeting CASG QMS requirements.

Lead Auditor qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the CAF16 QMS under the CASG QMS
  • Liaise with the CASG QMS Directorate team
  • Update the CAF16 internal audit plan and manage internal auditing
  • Document and action corrective action requests and improvement requests
  • Support bi-annual QMS Management Review meetings
  • Complete QMS inductions for new staff
  • Report on task status to the CAF16 Deputy Chief Engineer
  • Develop and maintain beneficial relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Handover all CAF16 QMS activities and deliver a written report

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in quality management practices in a Defence environment
  • Internal Auditor qualifications meeting CASG QMS requirements
  • Desirable: Lead Auditor qualifications meeting CASG QMS requirements
