Senior Conservation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced environmental professional to join our team as a Principal Environmental Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a healthy environment for future generations.

Main Responsibilities:
- Provide expert assessment and decision-making under the Environmental Protection Act 1994 for applications related to environmental authorities, progressive rehabilitation, and closure plans.
- Apply relevant qualifications and experience in geology and/or geochemistry to industrial and mining processes, including mining waste management, storage, and disposal matters.
- Collaborate with our team to undertake statutory assessment functions for mineral mining and downstream mineral mining projects across Queensland.
