Home Care Worker Position - Greek Speaker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide essential support to our clients in their homes.

As a Home Care Worker, you will assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship. Your caring heart and helping hands will enable our clients to live comfortably in their own homes.

The duties of this role include:

  • Providing individualized care to our clients
  • Helping clients with activities of daily living according to their care plans
  • Accompanying clients for community access, including grocery shopping, social activities, and appointments
  • Ensuring privacy, confidentiality, and dignity for all clients
  • Responding to emergency situations using first aid as required
  • Maintaining accurate records of care to clients
  • Reporting any incidents or hazards that impact clients
Requirements
  • Certificate III or higher in a related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in home care, community work or disability services
  • Compassion, empathy, and a passion for helping others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability for shifts Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm
  • First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current Australian driver's license, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle, and be willing to transport up to three clients at a time if required
  • Greek speaking is essential
