Requirements:

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an environment relevant to the specialty.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate, quality care that is culturally responsive.
  • Effective communication and engagement skills with patients, consumers, carers, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Personable and professional interaction with colleagues and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Critical thinking and evidenced-based practice skills.
  • Understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety, and quality improvement.
  • Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
