Job Title: QA Supervisor

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead our QA team in ensuring the highest quality products for our customers. This is a great opportunity to work with a highly automated and sophisticated site that is equipped to global best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor and provide ongoing development to the QA team.
  • Direct and train production staff regarding quality and compliance matters.
  • Ensure quality control procedures are achieved.
  • Develop and verify plant hygiene manual and sanitation standard operating procedures.
  • Establish relationships with suppliers and customers.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in quality, food science or similar.
  • Substantial experience as a Quality Assurance supervisor preferably within a high care food manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent understanding of HACCP systems and ISO standards.
  • Solid knowledge of all food laws and regulations including audit level experience of HACCP or BRC or other Quality & Food Safety Management Systems.
  • Experience in managing a Quality team in a FMCG, short or medium shelf-life environment.
  • Meat experience would be highly desired.
