Robotics Systems Integration Expert

About This Role

We're developing a cutting-edge solution to overcome the most common challenge in the industry - moving and storing material. We're combining robotics and distributed software to create innovative products for this market.

Key Responsibilities
  • As a senior robotics systems integration engineer, you'll be responsible for leading the technical operations of prototype warehouse robotics installations, ensuring they are operational, maintained, and available for hardware tests and software development.
  • You will investigate system failures across the full stack, from mechanical assemblies through networking, performing rapid diagnosis and reporting issues to responsible engineers.
  • Additionally, you'll mentor field engineering teams in commissioning and operational procedures, serving as a high-level technical contact across multiple deployment sites.
  • Furthermore, you'll verify system performance under operational conditions, stress-testing hardware and software integration to identify failure modes before customer deployment.
The Ideal Candidate Profile
  • You have 5+ years of hands-on experience with complex electro-mechanical systems troubleshooting, ideally in autonomous systems, industrial automation, or aerospace applications.
  • You have proven experience managing systems that support development teams, including maintaining uptime, scheduling work windows, and ensuring system availability for testing.
  • Moreover, you possess deep expertise in multi-domain system integration, understanding dependencies between mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software subsystems.
  • Also, you excel at rapid diagnosis under pressure, with proven ability to systematically isolate failure modes in complex systems with minimal documentation or support.
  • Lastly, you're proficient with diagnostic tools including oscilloscopes, multimeters, CAN bus analyzers, and Linux-based debugging utilities.
