Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the integration and operations of prototype warehouse robotics installations as a Robotics Systems Integration Engineer. This role combines technical expertise with operations and project management to drive the development of a large robotics fleet.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that internal prototype installations are operational and available for testing.
  • Investigate system failures across the full stack, from mechanical assemblies through networking, and report issues to responsible engineers.
  • Mentor field engineering teams in commissioning and operational procedures.
  • Verify system performance under operational conditions and stress-test hardware and software integration to identify failure modes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with complex electro-mechanical systems troubleshooting, preferably in autonomous systems or industrial automation.
  • Proven experience managing systems that support development teams, ensuring uptime, scheduling work windows, and maintaining system availability.
  • A deep understanding of multi-domain system integration and dependencies between mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software subsystems.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, CAN bus analyzers, and Linux-based debugging utilities.

You excel at rapid diagnosis under pressure and have a proven ability to systematically isolate failure modes in complex systems. You possess excellent communication skills and can effectively convey technical findings to both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
