Job Title: Industry Liaison Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Coordinator to join our team. As a Field Coordinator, you will play a vital role in promoting apprenticeships and traineeships in the construction industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Industry Promotion: Develop and maintain relationships with host employers to promote Master Builders SA's Group Training concept.
  • Apprentice Monitoring: Monitor the progress of apprentices, provide feedback, and recommend corrective action when necessary.
  • Training Coordination: Organise additional training workshops for apprentices and trainees.
  • Recruitment & Selection: Assist with recruiting new apprentices and participate in the interview and assessment process.
  • General Duties: Assist the General Manager of Apprenticeships with various tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in negotiating, coordinating, and planning activities across diverse groups.
  • Previous experience working with apprentices or trainees is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in sales and promotional activities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in supervising others.
  • Proficient in using relevant computer software.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Current Class 1 Driver's Licence.
  • Construction Industry White Card.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Trade qualification or strong knowledge of the Building and Construction Industry.
  • Sound knowledge of VET in Schools and Work Health & Safety.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122).
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419).
