Estimating Manager Position

This is a senior opportunity for an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our projects across various sectors.

  • The successful candidate will oversee the entire tender process from start to finish.
  • Key responsibilities include managing take-offs, collaborating with internal teams and subcontractors, developing project budgets, cost models, and bid proposals.
Job Requirements:
  • 8+ years' industry experience, ideally in the commercial space.
  • Understanding current rates in the commercial environment.
  • Ability to communicate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Eye for detail with take-offs, etc.
  • Must have worked on tenders over $5 million.
  • Have proven relevant experience working for a Tier 1, 2, or 3 Builder or a large fit-out contractor.
  • Local experience is required for this role.

As an Estimating Manager you will receive exposure to a variety of projects to build your experience, ability to run your own tenders how you want, and work with a business that has a strong company culture and great new business team.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Complete cost evaluations and pricing analysis of quotes.
  • Develop project budgets, cost models, and bid proposals, suggesting and assessing cost-saving/VE options.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to align on scope and costs.
  • Monitor market conditions and integrate insights into cost forecasting.
  • Peer review of tender estimates.
  • Mentor junior estimators and improve estimating tools and processes.
