Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Estimator to join our Delivery Management team. The successful candidate will play a key part in preparing infrastructure cost benchmarks and conducting detailed cost analysis on completed projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to major government initiatives while working in a flexible hybrid model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and detailed project cost estimates for complex infrastructure projects.
  • Analyse direct, indirect, and overhead costs to establish reliable benchmark rates.
  • Support the development and maintenance of cost databases and rate libraries.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, procurement, and contractors to obtain essential inputs.
  • Prepare cost plans, tender documentation, and bid evaluations.
  • Provide expert input into pre-bid and qualification submissions.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and support process improvements in cost estimation.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years' experience in cost estimation, ideally within infrastructure or construction.

They will be proficient in Genesis, Candy, and CostX software, possess strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and have a proven ability to prepare cost estimates across all project stages.
