As a leader, you will be supported by your team and leader to achieve personal and team goals, while also having the flexibility to balance your lifestyle with flexible roster options from Perth, Busselton, Geraldton or Albany. Our schedule allows for more time to prioritize personal priorities.

You will report to the Superintendent Mobile Equipment Maintenance and be responsible for:

  • Providing safety and technical guidance, mentoring team members, and understanding their strengths to ensure safety and quality work.
  • Completing daily inspections and engaging with your team to develop a safe, efficient work culture.
  • Allocating and coordinating planned maintenance activities following Rio Tinto workflow principles.
  • Prioritizing and managing breakdowns with the mine production team.
  • Driving continuous improvement projects focused on cost savings and efficiency.
Key Requirements
  • A commitment to safety for yourself and your team.
  • Leadership experience with a successful track record in developing and coaching team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Respect for others and an inclusive mindset.
  • A current Australian manual (C Class) driver's license.
  • Relevant experience in Mining and/or Mobile Equipment Maintenance.
