Are you a strategic thinker looking to drive business growth and improvement? As a Strategy Analyst, you will be part of a team that develops and implements Melbourne Airport's corporate strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.

The role involves working closely with various business units to provide commercial advice and support effective decision-making. This includes developing a deep understanding of the 'why' and 'how' of business priorities, as well as supporting projects that inform strategic decisions at both an enterprise and business unit level.

  • Act as a trusted advisor across the Airport's business units, applying structured problem-solving approaches to deliver high-quality research and analysis.
  • Design and build advanced Excel models to support data-driven decision-making, and develop compelling storyboards and presentations to effectively communicate conclusions to stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a strategy or management consulting environment, or demonstrated experience in a similar role for a large corporate organisation.
  • High-level ability with data analysis, interrogation, and visualization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to present findings in an accurate, compelling, and succinct manner, using strong project management skills to drive results.
  • Industry sector experience in aviation, commercial property, retail, or capital-intensive businesses is highly regarded.
