Job Title: Financial Operations Partner

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to partner with our operations team and drive commercial value through identifying opportunities for improvement. You will provide analytical support and accountability for financial governance and control.

  • Prepare weekly gross margin reporting and supporting analysis, and monthly site Profit & Loss reporting.
  • Partner with the Site Leadership team to identify onsite opportunities that will further enhance financial performance.
  • Active involvement at site on a daily basis allowing for real-time problem-solving, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
  • Preparation of the annual budget, re-forecasts, and provide commentary around variances.
  • Partner with the new Product Development team to ensure accurate new product costs prior to launch and post-launch analysis.
  • Support Capital projects preparation and post-CAPEX reviews for site.
  • Monthly site overheads reviews with Site Leadership team.
  • Business partnering on national projects.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • CA/CPA qualifications or working towards it.
  • A strong commercial acumen gained through previous experience in FMCG/Manufacturing industry.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to a non-financial audience.
  • A high level of integrity.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • The drive and determination to deliver outcomes.
