Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial reporting of transport linehaul interstate and local transport operations.
  • Preparation of monthly P&Ls, early estimates, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, capital planning/investments, tracking and reporting of business initiatives and their associated benefits.
  • Business partnering stakeholders to ensure they are provided with accurate and timely financial information.
What You'll Deliver:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with operational teams and internal finance stakeholders.
  • Provide data-driven commercial insights to Freight Services, enabling informed decisions to deliver business strategies.
  • Analyse and provide commercial advice and insights to ensure financial outcomes for the parcels business.
  • Take accountability for month-end reporting, planning & forecasting.
About You:
  • A high-achieving finance and accounting professional who can translate accounting results and reports into information for commercial stakeholders.
  • Experience and understanding of financial control & reporting.
  • High-level financial, analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent systems skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and some experience with data visualisation tools.
