Perth, Western Australia NES Fircroft Full time

We are working with Woodside, recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join them on a 6-month contract. This role is within the Australian Business Finance team, supporting Northwest Shelf Gas, Non-Operator assets, and FPSOs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support the North West Shelf Business Unit with onshore activities at the Karratha Gas Plant.
  • Assist the Bass Strait & Wheatstone Business Unit with non-operator assets.
  • Support the FPSO/Macedon/Aus Ops Support Business Unit with FPSO assets.
  • Provide routine and non-routine financial analysis to underpin business decisions.
  • Prepare and present management reports with analysis and commentary on financial performance against budgets and forecasts for internal and JV stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the annual enterprise plan and quarterly forecasts, supporting internal and JV approvals.
  • Lead cost-saving initiatives aligned with the VIP / Performance Edge process.
  • Review business proposals, assist with AFE preparations/approvals, and provide guidance on contracts and Woodside's MOA.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and expenditure approval processes.
  • Drive financial process improvements and collaborate with Finance teams and stakeholders to enhance financial performance and insights.
Experience Required:
  • Alignment with Woodside Values.
  • Degree in a relevant discipline (undergraduate or postgraduate).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple demands.
  • Understanding of costing processes, residuals, recoveries, and rates.
  • Strong financial and commercial analytical skills.
