Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and suitably qualified process control professional to join our energetic and multi-disciplined team in Western Australia.

The successful candidate will assist plant personnel with control function fault finding, develop and maintain plant control philosophy and process control functional descriptions, and implement control functions for existing plant and new projects.

About the Role

  • Assist plant personnel with control function fault finding;
  • Develop, document and maintain plant control philosophy and process control functional descriptions;
  • Implement control functions for existing plant and new projects;
  • Develop and manage the change process for modifications to plant process control functions;
  • Investigate and implement process control improvements;
  • Develop, document and maintain sequence start-up for processing plants;
  • Work collaboratively with other personnel within the Maintenance Department to share knowledge, supporting any capital and operating project requirements;
  • Making recommendations on projects and systems to capture business improvement ideas that will lead to improved efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Fault finding and troubleshooting of control system issues;
  • Development and maintenance of plant control documentation;
  • Implementation of new control functions and upgrades to existing systems;
  • Process control improvement initiatives;
  • Start-up and commissioning of new processing plants;
  • Collaboration with the Maintenance Department to support capital and operating projects.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in instrumentation, automation or relevant discipline;
  • Demonstrated documentation and time management skills;
  • Working knowledge of electrical standards and codes.
