About Process Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Process Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating parts of the plant which affect control of the nickel refining process.

The Process Technician will work in a dynamic environment, operating grinding circuit equipment, hydrometallurgical processes, process gas, and anhydrous ammonia control and recovery systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Safely operate process equipment to ensure efficient production and minimize downtime
  • Monitor and control process variables to achieve business plan production targets
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on process equipment as required
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the refinery

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high level of safety focus, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
  • Current experience in mineral or chemical processing operations, with knowledge of process control systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
