Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Process Control Specialist to join our optimisation team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in metallurgy and process control, with experience working at the level of Senior Metallurgist or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of process dynamics, mathematics, simulation, and technical computing. They will also have excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with strong client-facing rapport.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Metallurgy, Process, or Chemical Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in a metallurgical environment with process control, metallurgical accounting, and production reporting
  • International and consulting experience across various operations and commodities preferred

You will also need to be able to balance competing priorities and business drivers across the operational value chain, design robust process control strategies, and have advanced knowledge of production systems, including modelling and simulation.
