Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager
A successful Restaurant Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of hospitality operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
This includes managing food and beverage services, leading and supporting the management team, fostering a high-performance service culture, driving revenue growth, and controlling costs effectively.
Key responsibilities include analysing performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, supervising daily operations, implementing hands-on leadership to inspire and guide the team, streamlining processes to enhance guest satisfaction, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and developing and executing strategies to attract new clientele.
We're looking for someone who holds a relevant Diploma qualification and/or has 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role. They should be able to multitask, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and remain calm under pressure. Reliability, punctuality, and trustworthiness are essential, as well as maintaining high standards of personal presentation and hygiene.
The ideal candidate works well as part of a team, has a positive, can-do attitude, is passionate about hospitality and delivering excellent customer experiences, and has a solid understanding of HACCP, Food Safety Regulations, and related requirements. Flexibility and a willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, are also required.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage food and beverage services while leading and supporting the management team.
- Foster a high-performance service culture, driving revenue growth and controlling costs effectively.
- Analyse performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Supervise daily operations, including staff rostering, cash and stock handling, sales targets, and restaurant presentation.
- Implement hands-on leadership to inspire and guide the team.
- Streamline processes to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations to prioritise guest safety.
- Develop and execute strategies to attract new clientele and build the restaurant's reputation.
- Address customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
Requirements:
