Workforce Operations Manager Job Description

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Workforce Operations Manager to lead the workforce management team in optimizing store workforce operations.

About the Role:

This role provides leadership to the workforce management team in budgeting, scheduling, time and attendance, and workforce analytics. The successful candidate will oversee financial record keeping systems for invoice management, accruals, and financial journal processing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading continuous improvement of the Workforce Operations team through coaching and development of direct reports.
  • Investigating schedule adherence and forecast variances, recommending changes to enhance forecast accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Driving profitable outcomes in salary spend by delivering accurate costings of all store workforce activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A sound understanding of workforce planning principles and systems in budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, time and attendance, and workforce analytics.
  • Previous experience managing a team of direct reports.
  • Advanced competency in Microsoft suite.
  • Advanced ability to interpret and use complex data to drive outcomes and influence key business stakeholders.
  • Tertiary education in a relevant field such as business, commerce, analytics or finance is desirable.
