Technical Artistry in Game Development

We are seeking a skilled Technical Artist to join our team and contribute to the creation of bespoke games from concept through to publishing.

  • This role requires collaboration with artists and programmers to integrate visually striking and technically optimized 3D assets into the games.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that 3D assets are set up appropriately with the correct components, materials, and effects.

About the Role:

  • Integrate 3D assets ensuring optimal performance and visual fidelity.
  • Develop and refine efficient pipelines for asset creation and integration understanding of the Graphics Rendering Pipeline.
  • Create and implement shaders, materials, and textures that enhance visual quality while adhering to performance targets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to asset integration, performance, and visual quality.
  • Work closely with artists, animators, designers, and programmers to ensure a seamless integration of art assets and technical solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Artist or similar role in the gaming industry.
  • Proficiency in 3D software such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender.
  • Understanding of Unity game engine.
  • Knowledge of shaders, materials, and rendering techniques.
  • Familiarity with optimization techniques for real-time graphics.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for gaming and a keen eye for visual quality.
