Technical Artist Job Summary

This role will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between design and engineering by assisting and supporting the development of games.

We are looking for a skilled Technical Artist to create comprehensive video demos, references, and detailed documentation of game behaviours and files.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create high-quality video demos of game features and examples using Adobe After Effects.
  • Develop references (formal screenshots and early concepts) for slot game elements using existing assets throughout the game lifecycle.
  • Export, optimise, and organise game assets to create implementation-ready game packages.
  • Prepare detailed documentation of game behaviours and files.
  • Assist engineers during the game development cycle with asset preparations and modifications as needed.
  • Identify pipeline and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and team leads to formalise and agree on standards for locations, sizes, formats & naming conventions of assets.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A solid level of experience using Adobe After Effects.
  • An enthusiasm to spend large chunks of time creating video references in After Effects showing our (sometimes complex) slot game behaviours.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience with optimising and handling digital assets.
  • A high degree of accuracy and detail when creating and maintaining documentation.
  • Good communication skills to assist and collaborate with other creative roles and departments.
