Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Home Lending Specialist to join our team in Canberra City. This is a permanent full-time career opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and advice to customers to help them achieve their home buying dreams.
  • Make relevant suggestions to customers based on their home buying goals.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers, building trust, confidence, and advocacy to help them secure and enhance their financial goals.
  • Build your personal brand and network in the local community to enhance your credibility.
  • Develop your business by building and maintaining internal and external referral sources.
  • Contact home buying customers to build rapport, determine their needs and goals, and invite them into the branch for an appointment.
  • Attend regular coaching sessions to develop your lending knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar home lending role from within a bank or mortgage broker environment.
  • Demonstrated business development success.
  • A well-developed knowledge of home lending products and the current responsible lending legislation.
