Lead Outside School Hours Care Program

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Second-in-Command. This role is perfect for those passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families.

This full-time position, 38 hours per week, offers a fixed roster across the week. As a Second-in-Command, you will be responsible for leading, training and guiding staff in best practice to deliver high-quality care to every child.

You will plan and prepare engaging programs for school-aged children, maintain a safe environment, and provide opportunities for children to explore, learn and play.

The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood, OSHC and/or disability support sectors. They will possess excellent problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a large team
  • Developing and implementing programs for school-aged children
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Providing opportunities for children to explore, learn and play

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An Employee Working with Children Check
  • A First Aid + CPR Certificate
  • Child Protection Training / Mandatory Reporting
  • An ACECQA-approved Diploma level qualification
