Job Title: Aircraft Commander (Training)

Job Description

As an Aircraft Commander, you will be responsible for leading a highly modified aircraft equipped with advanced technology in a dynamic environment.

Providing essential leadership and support to crew members is crucial in this role. You will also conduct training and checking activities in the aircraft and simulator.

Aircraft commanders must possess excellent communication and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Australian citizen with current passport required
  • CASA Class 1 Aviation Medical certification necessary
  • Australian ATPL(A) license required
  • Minimum of 2000 hours total flight time
  • Multi-crew, multi-engine, turbine engine aeroplane command experience
  • Experience as a trainer in a Part 138 or 121 (CAR 217) training and checking system
  • Australian Flight or Simulator Instructor Rating endorsed with DHC8
  • Eligibility for both an Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC) and Australian government security clearances
