Exciting Opportunity for a Medical Laboratory Assistant

This part-time position at our pathology laboratory is an ideal opportunity to further your career as a blood collector or if you are just starting out.

The successful candidate will be working on a Monday to Friday basis, either at our collection centre or out of the hospital-based laboratory collections.

  • Certificate III in Pathology Collections and/or previous experience in venepuncture is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills, including effective communication with patients, carers and clinical staff, are essential.
  • Good knowledge of pathology terminology and requirements, as well as the willingness to learn all aspects of specimen preparation practices, is required.
  • An unencumbered Class C Driver's License (valid in NSW) or the ability to travel to any site for a shift as required is necessary.
