Investment Risk Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Risk Management professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering critical support to Investment Risk functions across the organization.

The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders and deliver key uplift objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver recurring tasks and risk reports with accuracy and timeliness;
  • Contribute to the enhancement of Investment Risk monitoring, governance, reporting, data integrity, and over-the-counter instrument capture;
  • Ensure the accuracy of risk-related documentation, such as policies, standards, frameworks, and procedures;
  • Improve existing risk processes, controls, and engineer future-fit solutions;
  • Work with stakeholders and service providers to deliver key uplift objectives;
  • Requirements:
  • Degree in Business, Commerce, Mathematics, or related field;
  • Postgraduate qualifications (e.g. CFA, FRM) highly regarded;
  • 5+ years in financial services, including 2+ years in Investment Risk;
  • Strong understanding of Australian Investment Risk regulations; offshore exposure a plus;
  • Experience across at least one of these asset classes: Fixed Income, Equities, Multi Asset;
  • Familiarity with derivatives;
  • Experience with third-party risk models and explaining risk drivers to stakeholders;
  • Advanced Excel skills essential; VBA, PowerBI, and FactSet desirable;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and time management abilities;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Lists;
