The role of an Investment Compliance Analyst involves monitoring daily rules within client portfolios and assisting in the investment process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering investment compliance services
  • Acting as a point of contact for client queries
  • Ensuring prompt action on requests and issues
  • Maintaining high service standards through regular meetings with clients
  • Assisting with changes to improve client services
  • Supporting new activity setup and onboarding
  • Helping with business requirements, UAT, implementation plans, and project governance

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Investment Compliance or a related field
  • Tertiary qualifications preferred but strong industry experience is considered
  • Ability to interpret investment mandate agreements and set up rules
  • Investigating breaches and communicating with investment managers and clients
  • Resolving production issues and client queries
  • Performing data maintenance and reporting
  • Building technical capability through training and research
  • Maintaining procedures, risk, and control guidelines
  • Implementing service and process improvements
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies
  • Understanding financial markets and instruments

Skills:

  • Intermediate MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills
  • Project/Business Analyst skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good judgment in client commitments
