Lead Track Design Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Track Engineer to provide technical design expertise and delivery to our clients. This is a challenging role that requires a minimum of 10 years of commercial experience in track design and project management.
- Experience producing track design work across major Rail projects in Victoria
- An engineering degree and a minimum of 10+ years of track/permanent way alignment design-related experience
- Chartered (CPEng) and preferably with existing competencies with the Victorian and national rail agencies
- Practical knowledge and experience using civil design software, i.e. 12d or Bentley OpenRail or Microstation
The ideal candidate will have worked independently to complete the planning, design, and execution of projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising project staff to ensure successful project delivery
- Reviewing deliverables to ensure compliance with technical and quality assurance standards
- Monitoring costs and working knowledge of commercial arrangements
