Job Role

We are currently seeking a talented senior track engineer for our Melbourne office.

This role will lead on track design projects in VIC and contribute to major rail projects nationally.

The successful candidate will provide technical design expertise and delivery to existing clients.

  • 10+ years' commercial experience in track design and project management is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in track/permanent way alignment design.
  • Chartered (CPEng) and preferably with existing competencies with the Victorian and national rail agencies.
  • Practical knowledge and experience using civil design software such as Microstation and Bentley OpenRail.
  • Ability to work independently to complete planning, design and execution of projects that meet client expectations within agreed timelines and budget.
  • Supervising project staff and reviewing deliverables to ensure compliance with technical and quality assurance standards.
  • Monitoring costs on an ongoing basis and ensuring they do not exceed approved budgets.
  • Working knowledge of commercial arrangements and relationships.

Suitable applicants will have/be experienced in producing track design work across major Rail projects in Victoria.
