Exciting Kitchen Team Member Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food service to our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food preparation, presentation, and service
  • Assisting senior chefs with daily kitchen preparations
  • Catering for functions and various events
  • Cooking using grills and fryers
  • Stock management
  • Cleaning the kitchen area and maintaining a well-presented environment
  • Stock checking, accepting food deliveries, and ensuring safe storage of products
  • Completing daily cleaning checklists to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a busy kitchen as a Chef
  • Relevant trade qualifications including Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery and/or Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • High customer service skills and a strong commitment to your trade, customers, and team
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Ability to cope with stressful situations and strong problem-solving skills
