Bathurst Panthers has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join their team.

We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our Kitchen team. You will enjoy working with a team that prides itself on consistently presenting high quality food to the customers. As a valuable member of our professional team, you will work behind the scenes to ensure the kitchen is kept clean and functional, and your contribution is vital to the successful operation of the kitchen.

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

  • General cleaning of the kitchen including pot wash and glass wash;
  • Food preparation;
  • Ensuring food storage areas meet health and safety requirements;
  • Ensuring correct functioning of machinery and equipment;
  • Assisting the chefs with other general duties as required.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following attributes:

  • Good level of physical fitness;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Highly motivated individual who takes pride in their work;
  • Enjoy working in a productive and fast-paced team environment;
  • Ability to handle pressure and work efficiently and proactively.

With enthusiasm to learn, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to developing your skills within the trade. You are required to be flexible and reliable, as you will need to be available 24/7 to work as required, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
