Hume City Council seeks an expert risk management and compliance advisor to provide guidance on governance frameworks, internal controls, and financial reporting. This is a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and provide advice on risk management systems and fraud prevention measures.
  • Evaluate council policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local government regulations and ministerial directions.
  • Oversee financial and performance reporting to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
  • Advise on internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Review and provide guidance on the CEO Employment and Remuneration Policy.
