Job Title: Care Support Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Care Support Specialist. As a key member of our residential care facility, you will be responsible for supporting individuals living with us to maintain and/or improve their physical, cognitive, emotional and social health and wellbeing.

Care Support Shift Spans:

  • Monday - Sunday
  • 0700 - 1500
  • 0700 - 1300
  • 1500 - 2300
  • 1500 - 2100
  • 1430 - 1930
  • 2300 - 0700

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Support residents to maintain and/or improve their overall health and wellbeing
  2. Follow and contribute to the resident's care plan
  3. Assist residents with daily living activities, domestic tasks and activity support
  4. Maintain accurate documentation
  5. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to support the wellbeing of residents

About You:

  • A caring and compassionate individual with a passion for delivering high-quality care and support
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • High level customer service experience
  • A commitment to enhancing the lives of older people

Requirements:

  1. Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  2. Or currently studying towards a nursing qualification having completed placements
  3. A Police Check for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups less than 12 months old
