Job Title: Customer Service Support Specialist

\

The role of a Customer Service Support Specialist is to provide high-quality customer service and support to clients, contributing to the growth and success of the business.

\
  • Financial Transactions: Ensure the integrity of financial transactions from contracts, maintaining WIP, open purchase orders, and debt in accordance with agreed contractual parameters.\
  • Purchase Orders: Create accurate purchase orders in a timely manner, create/raise extra works jobs, attend and actively participate in weekly finance meetings with contract managers/subcontractors/Clients etc.\
  • Supplier Invoices: Regularly review and process supplier invoices, raise sales invoices (complete billing) in line with contractual and company deadlines, assist with month-end financial reporting, and ensure deadlines are met.\
  • Contract Reviews: Support the preparation and delivery of monthly Contract Reviews, chasing debt to keep within contractual terms, creation and review of management reports such as P&L, WiP, Unbilled Revenue, Debt, OPO's & Invoice Pool.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will be responsible for promoting a positive culture throughout the teams, sickness and absence reporting, holiday tracking, and reporting changes in Org Structure to the wider team.

Additionally, they will be required to collate and process timesheets & expenses, provide training for team members, maintain people records such as training, new starters/leavers (notification; System Set-Up; IT Requests), communicate effectively, and build/maintain relationships at all levels with internal and external customers.

The successful candidate will drive high-quality commercial performance through understanding contractual commitments, better buying, and use of preferred suppliers. They will also continually develop systems to maximize efficiency benefits for the client and the business.
