Wheel and Brakes Aircraft Technician">

Join our team as a skilled aircraft technician to play a critical role in ensuring the safety and performance of our fleet.

In this specialized position, you'll be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and overhauling aircraft wheel assemblies and braking systems. Your expertise will help maintain optimal braking performance, manage wear and tear, and ensure compliance with aviation safety standards.

  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills or ability to successfully transfer qualifications through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process">
  • Prior experience working within components (Wheels & Brakes) advantageous">
  • Commitment to being customer-focused with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required">
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff">
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely and adhere to all safety and compliance procedures">
  • High attention to detail and ability to comply with Qantas Maintenance procedures">
  • Ability to work to tight timelines with minimal supervision">
  • Flexibility with ability to meet changing departmental requirements
