A leading Australian-owned advanced manufacturing business is seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to drive its next phase of expansion. The organisation operates at the forefront of high-reliability sectors such as Aerospace & Defense, Medical Devices, Security Technology, and Autonomous Vehicle Manufacturing.
The role involves accelerating revenue growth through strategic, hands-on business development, customer acquisition, and aligning sales and marketing initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing and executing growth strategies, building relationships with senior decision-makers, leading a sales team, reviewing commercial contracts, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting the organisation's dual-continent manufacturing capability.
- Develop and execute growth strategies to expand market presence in Australia and internationally
- Build and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers in technical and engineering-driven industries
- Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Review commercial contracts, highlighting risks and opportunities in the business's best interest
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, while growing existing accounts
- Align sales and marketing functions to deliver integrated, data-driven growth strategies
- Support the organisation's dual-continent manufacturing capability, ensuring seamless customer experience across Australia and the USA
Key requirements for success include proven experience driving revenue growth in technical and manufacturing sectors, strong networks across at least one of the organisation's focus industries, relevant qualifications in engineering, business, or marketing, and experience in Australian and international markets.
